Overhaul of user rights for Longchamp

Presentation 👋

A French luxury leather goods house founded in 1948, Longchamp is renowned for its expertise in leather goods.
The company was a pioneer in many respects, notably 15 years ago, when it became one of the first luxury goods companies to adopt a PLM system, and even became a Centric customer in France.

As part of its migration to version 7.1, the Longchamp company called on Fit Retail to overhaul access rights and support business functions in their digital transformation by integrating them into the solution as effectively as possible. The partnership has now been running for over 3 years.

The challenge to solve 🤔

  • Integrate all BUs requiring or participating in the enrichment of product data and the product lifecycle.
  • Support business units in their adoption of Centric Software’s C8 solution, while complying with any new standards and legislative constraints they may encounter.
  • Train users, listen to them and help them get to grips with the tool

The benefits ✅

Our actions have led to the full integration of all the leather goods department’s trades at Longchamp. As a result of our intervention, the creation processes within the Trading department have become much smoother and faster. In addition, information transmitted to ERP systems, PIM, e-commerce sites, etc. has been made more reliable, thus reducing human intervention and input errors. Last but not least, Longchamp now benefits from complete and precise visibility over the life cycle of its products, as well as decorations, window displays, POP and in-store decoration, thus promoting a global CSR approach.
