Centric PLM support for Hermès

Hermès is a French company founded in Paris in 1837 by Thierry Hermès. Originally a harness and saddle manufacturer, Hermès is now a luxury group specializing in leather goods, ready-to-wear, perfumes, watches and tableware. Since the end of 2018, Fit Retail has been supporting Hermès with its Centric PLM. From a business line managed in Centric PLM (men’s ready-to-wear), Hermès has continued to develop the tool in order to deploy it to all its product categories. To date, 4 sectors use it on a daily basis: men’s ready-to-wear, women’s ready-to-wear, belts and leather goods.
The challenge to solve 🤔
- Provide Hermès teams with comprehensive support for Centric PLM, and respond to users as quickly as possible,
- Get closer to 100% availability of PLM software for users,
- Maintain PLM stability and ensure that any problems encountered are resolved as quickly as possible.

- Gradually bring new PLM players up to speed
- Establish a methodology for handing over subjects to support, in particular through exchanges with project teams and the transfer of skills prior to production launch.
- Maintain regular contact with business MOAs to target and prioritize corrections
- Supporting users on site during intensive collection phases
